I was thinking that you guys would be interested in making some money (not sure if there are any rules regarding the use of such things but I’ll assume they don’t exist), and would like to say it’s very easy to add a Merchandise/Support Us! page in which you can link out to some of the following:

1. Cafe Press- essentially it’s an online place for your own storefront of BandSoc branded gear, there are LOADS of things you could then be selling, CafePress defines their own price and you set the selling price so you define the profit you make from any sale! The advantages here are you can supply more variety, more styles etc and keep capital low as you don’t stock anything yourselves, whilst the buyer gets their own size made on demand however they like. Sort of like a 21st century footloose industry… sort of… ok not at all much.
2. Amazon Associates- simply a program where anything somebody buys from having visted Amazon through the site gets you 4% of their purchase… doesn’t happen often but when it does it is potentially very profitable
3. LoveFilm- you can get approx £12 for anybody who signs up for one of the trials through this program
4. Music store deals?

My point is I have set up a number of these sorts of things and they have some advantages… so it could be worth a thought.
